Raising funds for those affected by the fires
Melbourne’s street artists are doing their bit to raise funds for the Victorian Bushfire Appeal. Coming together under the banner Street Art for Ashes, many of Melbourne’s leading street artists along with those throughout Australia and abroad are donating their artwork to be auctioned.
Funds will be raised by an auction of street art pieces at No Vacancy Gallery on the evening of 13 March and online in the week 9 -16 of March. 75% of funds raised will go to the Red Cross and 25% towards Help for Wildlife.
As well as supporting a great cause, the auction night promises to be an entertaining evening, including DJs, $5 raffle for art and drinks for a gold coin donation.
Street Art for Ashes is sponsored by Sketch City, Melbourne Stencil Festival, No Vacancy, We Make Stuff Good and Mad Man Printing.
